Dolly Talk

Lara:  Did you hear everyone's comments about us?  It felt wonderful to finally get out the house!    Mom really surprised her co-workers by showing us off.  They loved us!  What a feeling!

Antoinette:  I don't know why she kept calling me the spoiled brat...I'm not spoiled!!

Lana:  (shaking her head) addressing Lara:  Did you hear what the spoiled brat had to say?  You think she'd be happy that she got out the house!!  I can't wait to go back.  I know mom was thinking about what we were going to wear next, I'm so excited!!

Camille:  I had a great time being out and having people admire me!  What a feeling!  Woo hoo!

Jacqueline:  I missed going out.  I hope I get to go out again.  Maybe we'll leave the men at home and it'll be just us girls!

Me:  Well, that sounds like a great idea - only I'm thinking about just bringing the men out and leaving the ladies at home.  The guys need to get out more and get some playing time too!

All the older ladies stare at me with their mouths hanging open!!  LOL!

Jeremy:  I kind of like the way you think mom.  These ladies get too much play.  Now it's our time!

Will and Russell:  huh?  hmmm.  (they give each other a high five)  Yep, it's our turn!  Ladies you stay home and we'll go out.

Me:  You know, I do owe you guys your own photo shoot.  Funny, I never thought about that.  Okay, soon as I get off this computer I'm going to take some pics of the three of you.

Antoinette:  Wha?!?  What about me?

Me:  Excuse me, but I think you've had enough pictures taken of you to last a lifetime.  Remember, everybody gets a photo shoot.  I'm sorry fellas, you got left out and that will not happen again.  Let me get your outfits ready.  Lata!

Visiting at work

I have been feeling so great 'cause I've been bringing my dolls to work with me!  They've gotten so many compliments!  It does a dolly mom good!  :D  My co-workers remember me from my Barbie days and now will know me for the bigger people! LOL!  So, without further ado, here's some pics!  More later next week as I will have to figure out who's coming next and what they'll wear.

Doll talk

Savannah:  So, we got another girl.

Patience:  Yep, we did.  You know there were only nine of us.  Mom, has to have ten of us, so you know she was bound to get someone else.

Savannah:   sigh....you're right.  I forgot about that.  Well, at least she's got ten of us now, so that should be the end of that.

Fatima:  Who are you kidding?  You know how Mom is, once she takes a liking to someone else, one of us has to go!  I really hope she's happy with us - I'd hate to leave.  I heard Mom talking and she says that Solange and Brianna are really happy with their new owner.  That should make her feel real good.

Patience:  Oh, that's nice.  I wonder how Alina's liking her new home.  Haven't heard too much about her.  So, who's the new girl?  What's her name?

Tine'a:  Hi everybody!  My name's Tine'a (tee-nay-ah) and I'm Indirah's twin sister.  (hugs Indirah) And I'm so glad to be here with everybody.

Indirah:  (hugs Tine'a back)  I know you'll be happy to live with us.  Mom is kind of fickle, but you know she loves us dolls.  I don't think she'll be looking to get rid of any of us.  The only thing she might do is have Ms. Bev put in some glass eyes on us, but I heard that won't happen any time soon.  speaking to her sister, "Tine'a let me introduce you to everybody."

Chorus:  "Hi Tine'a!  Welcome to our home.  We're glad you're here and can now make your acquaintance!"

Tine'a:  (looks around at everyone) I'm so happy to be here.  When my previous owner sold me, I was worried that I would not like my new owner.  Now, I'll have many friends and my sister is here too!  I am truly blessed.

Savannah:  We all are.  Now let's just pray that Mom doesn't take any more likings to other dolls.  It's very scary knowing that as soon as a new doll comes out, that we'll be replaced.  I don't like that feeling.  I'm very happy here.

Me:  Don't fret my dears.  I am very happy with my gals and will NOT be looking for anyone else.  I just .  need to learn how to make outfits for everyone.  Well, I guess in due time, but not just right now.  Besides, I love you all and just need to figure out who's coming to the doll show.  Hopefully, this year will be a better year for all of us.  I'll be having more group outings and that way everyone will have their day to come out.  I'm looking forward to enabling my friends into getting into you guys!! LOL!

Laughter is heard throughout the room!  All my dolls:  "We love u Mom!"

Welcome Tine'a!

Finally, some new pics of my latest gal Tiny Expectations, renamed Tine'a.  The correct pronunciation is tee-nay-a.  And she's Indirah's twin sister!  Check it out!

Indirah and Tine'a

Oops, I've done it again!

Oh well, after deciding I wasn't going to buy any more dolls....I did it again!  I was just browsing thru my EE doll group, when I saw a sale for a doll that I might want.  Her title is Tiny Expectations and she looks like this....

She's such a cutie pie and the price for her was $50, I just couldn't resist!!

I've renamed her Tine'a and she will be Indirah's twin sister.

Isn't she lovely?  Even though I cut Indirah's hair, I probably won't do the same to this gal. So, she's my 10th doll.  No more dolls for me ~ of course, unless someone else buys one for me.  LOL!  BTW, these pics are not mine - they belong to the former owner!  I just had to show her off!  I can't wait till she comes to live with us!
