Hello!

Wow, it's been a long time since my last post.  I've been having some problems with my camera and trying to upload pics.  The camera seems to be working fine, I just cannot upload the pics.  It is very frustrating because I took some really nice shots of the girls in their new outfits and I cannot show them off!! Argh!  sigh..oh well.  I guess I'll have to figure out  a way to make this work. 

New Doll for 2011

OK, I know, I know I had promised to TRY NOT TO BUY ANY MORE DOLLS but, it just doesn't work that way!  I bought the doll that I wanted when I first became enamored of these dolls.  She's called ALONE ON SUNDAY and she is gorgeous!  Did I previously post her pic?  If not here's the store version......

Here she is dressed in casual clothes.  Hopefully, I'll be able to make her some jewelry.  Right now, she's just hanging out with the other gals - getting comfortable and getting to know them!  I can't wait for the next dolly outing!  I'm gonna show these gals off!  LOL!  Well this is all for now....at least until I take some new pics.

I am really loving these dolls.  Hopefully, these will be the last of the bigger dolls that I'm getting into.  But we mustn't forget The Croft Family!  That'll be on another post!  Enjoy!

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!

HAPPY NEW YEAR  everyone!!  Wow 2011!  Another year goes by and I look forward to what this new year will bring.  I thought that I would really try NOT TO BUY ANOTHER DOLL, but alas there's no hope for me!!  That being said, my new girl is ALONE ON SUNDAY, pics from the archives......

I got these pics from WI, just to look at and drool over!  This doll is coming to my home as the NY doll!  Isn't she pretty?  I am a fan of red hair (as if I don't have enough red haired dolls as it is!  LOL) But hopefully, and I mean hopefully this will be my last dolly purchase.  PRAY FOR ME!!

This year I am supposed to be learning how to sew.  Hmm, haven't started yet.  Still have lots of ideas about what to make and already have my models...the lovely Camille

I bought this outfit from Viva La Posh and it looks so good on her.  I was trying for a new hairstyle and came up with this updo.  It looks fab on her!  Hey, Alone has the same hair color!!  Woo hoo!  I can't wait til she arrives!  Here's some more pics of her - she was all dressed up for the new year!

Mine you, this is not one of my pics.  I borrowed it from one of the ladies in one of my doll groups who was selling this doll.  Isn't she gorgeous?  I finally got her and at a really good price.  Patience is the best virtue!  I just thought of her new name....Patience.  Here's another picture of her from Wilde Imagination.

Sometimes I wonder about these outfits they dress these dolls in!  Beware, the stocking leave marks on the dolls' legs and sometimes it's hard to get it off.  Of course you can send the doll back for a new one...but who wants to go through all that?  This doll....err actually all of these EW dolls are my Christmas present to moi!  Still luving my dollz!  Now I have to redress her, make her some jewelry and take her pics with everyone else.  Well that'll probably be done tomorrow afternoon.   All for now!  Well....time to check out some youtube videos on jewelry making!  Lata!  :D

Doll Styles

There's so many ways to create styles for your doll.  Enhancement of the eyes and lips giving your doll a newer look is just like having a new doll!  I'll be hanging out at youtube to see what else they have that can be learned to create new doll styles!

Simple Eyelashes

Adding eyelashes too? OMgoodness! Oooh, I can imagine some eyelashes on my Ello - I know she would just love that! Something new to try for the new year!
